Black Letter Law 2011
BLD holds its sixth annual Black History Month Event and the official launch of its Black Letter Law 2011 publication at the Law Society on Thursday 6 October 2011.
The theme this year is BMEs in the Law - Creating and Doing Business in the UK and Worldwide. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase a copy of Black Letter Law 2011. The distinguished speakers showcase the breadth of talent and contribution of BMEs in business both internationally and in the UK.
Trevor Faure, the Global General Counsel and partner of Ernst & Young, is the keynote speaker. The panellists include Imran Khan, best known as representing the Stephen Lawrence family and the panel session is chaired by Shaun Wallace, the barrister who made history as the first black winner of Mastermind and is the "Dark Destroyer" on ITV's The Chase.
