From today, we have 62 vacancies for JAC panel members and chairs to assess candidates for judicial appointment.
These roles are involved in shortlisting. They also sit on panels to conduct interviews, observe role plays and produce reports to inform selection decisions made by the Commission. Selection panels have a vital role in upholding the integrity of the selection process.
It is not essential to have a human resources background, but you are likely to have held a senior position, where recruitment has been a significant part of your role. Excellent oral and written communication skills are needed and the ability to write clear, concise reports.
