
The Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC) hosts a number of seminars across England and Wales throughout the year. These are designed to give attendees a valuable insight into the work of the JAC and how the judicial selection process works.

The Law Society event - Meet the Judges
This event gives you the opportunity to hear directly from solicitor judges on their experiences of applying for and taking on a judicial post. Following the event, a reception which will mark the launch of the Law Society's Solicitor Judge Division, which aims to improve engagement between the Society and this important group of members. Combining these two events will give you an enhanced opportunity to network informally with colleagues and those who have already entered the judiciary. For more details visit the Law Society website
JAC and CILEx webinar

The Law Society and JAC have produced the below film for those who may not be able to attend one of the outreach events organised in England and Wales throughout the year.
