Chairman of Competition Appeal Tribunal
The Competition Appeal Tribunal seeks an additional Chairman to hear appeal, judicial review and damages cases involving competition and telecommunications law. You will use your extensive professional knowledge of relevant law to lead a panel of experts in economics, business, accountancy and other related fields.
Providing clear direction for panel colleagues on law and procedure, and demonstrating the authority and sensitivity to control hearings, you must be able to get to grips quickly with complex issues and deliver swift and clear judgments.
This is a fee paid post and you will be expected to be flexible and to prioritise the work of the Tribunal ahead of other commitments.
