The Judicial Appointments Commission is seeking applications from exceptional candidates to fill the post of resident Senior Circuit Judge at Birmingham Crown Court.
As Resident Judge, you will have the full duties of a Senior Circuit Judge dealing with some of the most serious criminal cases. In addition, you will be responsible for allocating and managing the business of a large, high-profile Crown Court and providing leadership to the judiciary there. You are generally granted the honorary title of 'Recorder of Birmingham' by the City Council, and will work closely with the Presiding Judges for the Midland Circuit.
