00396: Assistant Judge Advocate General

There are two pensionable posts open to lawyers with five years' experience.

Assistant Judge Advocates General support the Judge Advocate General in administering justice within the Armed Forces' criminal justice system. Key tasks are preparing for trial and case management and presiding over court proceedings.

The role will require a posting to Germany for two years (a full two years notice will be given and relocation expenses will be paid).

A part time working year can be accommodated. Number of Vacancies: 2
Location: Hearings take place mainly in Bulford, Colchester, Catterick, Portsmouth, Aldergrove (Northern Ireland) and Sennelager (Germany)
Salary: £101,400 plus £4,000 London allowances
