How are High Court Judges appointed? On merit.
The Judicial Appointments Commission is inviting applications for appointment as a High Court Judge.
The 21 vacancies will be in the Queen's Bench and Chancery Divisions from October 2008.
You are eligible to apply if you have been a solicitor or barrister for 10 years or a Circuit Judge for two years.
