The Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC) is now inviting applications for a substantial number of fee-paid judges of the First-tier Tribunal, Social Entitlement Chamber (Social Security and Child Support).

Salary: £424 per day

The 84 positions, all for immediate appointment, are across every region: The South East, Central, North East, North West, Wales and South West, Eastern region and in Scotland.

Successful candidates will take up challenging and satisfying roles, ensuring that parties to appeal - some of whom can be the most vulnerable in society - receive a fair hearing. Judges will hear cases primarily relating to Employment and Support Allowance and Disability Living Allowance, which both concern medical issues.
